thanks, mimic! it's not exactly a new style - it's just one that i've been going back to and exploring a bit more lately. i guess you can say that the style is rooted back when i was in high school. i'm just mixing that old style up with the stuff that i'm more prone to do now. so it's like a mixture of the past and the present - if that makes any sense.

dude - i really dig the new/old stuff combo - keep posting it, it'll be cool to see it evolve.
in a similar vein - i'm glad to see more pople showing off thier art around here - keeps it interesting.
does anyone know of a Chicago artists themed forum?

I also do some photography as a sideline to my doodling/designing/painting. My photography is all gritty documentary type stuff, if I put my photo hat on I would describe it as "selective narrative"...
...here's a tiger I am particularly pleased with!

not a single piece of photoshop (except for some slight colour adjustment) was used to create that image. a tiger with a bunch of flowers, were right there in front of me! tigers are big softies really
(the tiger was dead and stuffed)
