Just found out that a good friend of ours, ethos, passed away recently. I don't know what happened yet, but it seems that it might have even happened just yesterday.

Ethos, or Theo as some of us knew him, was a talented artist, a hustler, a vagabond and much much more. He was a good kid and a gentle soul with a bit of a hard exterior, but gentle none-the-less.

He will be missed.

Piecing a little more together now...seems he may have had cancer and passed a month or so ago.

This sucks. No one should get cancer at that age.

Man, fuggin sucks. I was to work with him on a couple of various projects a few years back. He was very quirky, creative as hell, and a genuine, hard working guy. Big ups to Ethos and all the hard work he put in and left for us!

first time i met him, Sneaker Pimps...2005(?)

I wanted to come on here and give a big up to Ethos here on the board. He set up the Cult of Personality show with him MCA and I. I'd known him for a few years via the interwebs and we used to IM all the time. I will def. miss the big guy but I'm glad that I got to do a show with him before he passed. Big Up Ethos! You'll be missed!

Not posting this link to sell stuff just to show off his artwork.
http://rotofugi.com/toyscart/pc/showsea ... ubmit.y=17 I can't figure out another way. I want to show respect and also want to show what a great artist he was.

thanks for posting that photo iccdp...
i'd been searching for one of that night.

proud to say that it became a quick friendship and lead to being part of the saigon market collective : http://saigonmarket.org/

not sure of the next steps, but I'm sure we will keep the market up and running.

Never met him, but this is sad either way.

I agree with Kirby, someone this young should never have to deal with this illness.

Bummer that the world lost another talent.

i met him a few times and he was always super nice to me. a great artist indeed as well!

and looking back, the corpse show that he curated at rotofugi back in the day had an amazing lineup!
