Been out of the designer toy scene for a while, but have a new project I wanted to drop, Black Market Pets.

This is a concept I developed several years ago, but never got off the ground. Some of the long-time members of the Roto forums might even remember me talking about it back in the day.

At any rate! My buddy Kel Wilson created an original sculpt based on a character I"ve been doodling for the past decade or so and we're now producing hand-cast resin figures of our first pet, Slurmy.

He's about 4" long and appx 3" high. The resin is nice! Sandable, drillable, paintable. Drillable? Yeah.

Yeah. We think he's kind of cute.

And a Frankenstein's Monster custom I slapped together over the weekend:

Yeah. About time, indeed.

Would still love to be doing these guys in plush. Maybe one day. <sigh>

If you know any windy city artists that might interested in taggin' one up, let me know (or let them know).

Cheers.

Actually, I'd love to do something, if you're interested in letting me throw down.

I love the style of this sculpt, and the character looks like a lot of fun.

Check out my web comic, and let me know if you'd like me to introduce him to Lou, the cardinal. http://www.milothecloud.com/strip I've been itching to do a Lou sculpt for a while now, and this sounds like a good fun way to add some action to the mix.

Drop me a line if you want. I'm at strippedsean (at) hotmail (dot) com

Dude! Milo is hilarious! And sweet, too. I love the last few about his being in love witht the moon.

I can defnitely hook you up. I'll have to check stock and see if I currently have any plain ones left. Will drop you a note.

Cheers.
