lesley is a polyurethane toy, about 11 inches tall and 100% handmade by my kind self ;)
he is a one-of-a-kind-figure. that means in this painting sheme he is unique. but i will make a few more lesleys in the future but each one will have a different painting (using acrylic paint). will deliver the toys with the single parts not glued together. that means the buyers have to glue the antlers on his head and put on the glasses.....so that nothing gets destroyed whilst shipping. glue always is included in the package ;)

first i started to make a sketch of how the toy should look like. first i thought lesley should be the winner of a contest for big wieners...but well..don't ask ;)

then i used wire and paper maché as the base for sculpting the figure
Image

i used some sort of clay (called puppenfimo) for the further sculpting

the finished figure. the other parts like the glasses and horns/antlers are made from 100% clay..so no wire or anything used for those parts.

then i needed to get a mold (3 parts-mold) from the figure
Image

i used a special, very flexible silicone for the mold-parts

here you can see the figure coverd in two side-parts of silicone. only the third silicone-part is missing to cover the area between his legs

i casted lesley and my other toys in a handrotation method to gain a hollow cast. the figures are not massive but hollow you know. the glasses and antlers are massive though. the finished cast from polyurethane you see here

here are some pics of the painted toy
