First...welcome to the forums! Always good to see more Chicago-area peeps on the boards. :)

They're no longer selling advance tickets through the Intonation website, but there will be a box office at the park...$20 per day, cash only.

Not sure how much actual music I'm going to get to see....it's a huge fest and we've got to keep the table manned well. That and Whitney and I still have a store to run.....but I'm hoping to at least sneak over and watch Lupe.

Agreed you should go see Jose if you can.

his music is really beautiful, and I had the great opportunity of meeting him at the airport in Austin on my way home from SXSW...truly a very nice guy!

:-D

yeah, i can't handle big crowds like that...
if it's any consulation, i saw The Sword at Sub-T a few months back, and i wasn't that impressed. granted they just went on after Torche, so they had that working against them. but i just wasn't feelin' it.

those bands are totally opposite....
I like the Sword record but didn't do much for me live.
The Torche record is just okay but they are the best live band i've seen in years.

but enough metal talk,
kirby... have fun at the fest!

Fun-wise it was good times! Sales-wise a little slow but still worth doing...we've still got another day to go too! :)

Hey I left a Knuckle Bear Capsule - Bone on the counter without paying for it, please keep that for me cuz I'm a retard and got distracted by a tinfoil ball that I had to chase.
