|Post subject:||Domestic Express Mail Notice|
Just a heads up....we've added a new item to our Shipping FAQ:
Is USPS Express Mail an overnight service?
Domestic (within the United States) Express Mail is NOT necessarily an overnight service. In many cases it can take 2-3 days for delivery, though it can be overnight to some destinations. Please check this page on USPS.com (use 60612 for the origin zip code) for their delivery guarantees on Express Mail. USPS Express Mail International (EMS) is usually 3-5 days.
Bascially, I've had a couple instances where domestic (within the US) Express Mail is taking WAY TOO LONG to be delivered. 3 days to Milwaukee? 5 days to West Virginia? Crazy. I don't know if this is a new thing, but in the past domestic Express Mail was almost always delivered the next day.
Check UPS Ground first and see how long it will take (origin zip code 60612):
If that isn't fast enough, Priority Mail seems to still be getting delivered in 2-3 days anywhere in the US.
If THAT isn't fast enough (basically if you need TRUE OVERNIGHT DELIVERY)....call us (the phone number is on the front of the website) and we'll arrange for FedEx on a case by case basis.
