EDIT...
Everything is now online.
Thanks to everyone who came out for the opening and made it a smashing success...and most of all, thank you Jeremy...you killed it!
-----
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm not much of a comics reader. I've always really admired the art form, especially in the more underground story-telling types of books, but I just never really caught the regular reading habit. So when Chicago based comic artist and painter Jeremy Tinder found us and proposed this show we really didn't know that much about him...one look at his website and blog though and I gave an immediate thumbs up for an exhibit.
I was immediately enthralled with his style on graphic novels like Cry Yourself to Sleep...and then we found out Jeremy's no stranger to the art world either having shown at Giant Robot in SF and G2 in Chicago among other places.
So...the basic idea is that Jeremy is painting 200 plus small paintings. It's gonna be wall to wall at our little gallery...and everything will be super affordable. As Jeremy put it, "If you can buy a videogame, you can buy one of these." This should be good!

There will be 200 4"x6" paintings available....all at $60 dollars each....I predict these will fly out of here so if you are not already on it, be sure to get on the gallery preview list!

His work is really great, and I love the idea of a lot of small much more affordable unique, hand done art. I have been trying to do the same thing, ever since I got out on my own in the art world. I find it to be under appreciated... But great job--those are going to sell like crazy--wonderful.
